A Bit More About Me
For more than 20 years, I built a career in international development, providing technical assistance, multi-stakeholder communications, and documenting results, while working in multicultural teams to design and manage programs across the Americas. With an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and a degree in Economics and International Business from ICESI University in Colombia, I’ve always approached my work with an entrepreneurial mindset — blending strategy, analysis, and creativity to bring projects to life.

My professional journey has taken me through some of the most dynamic institutions in the region — from the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to USAID implementing partners — where I honed the skills to bridge diverse interests, coordinate across cultures, and turn complex initiatives into tangible results.

As a Colombian who has lived in Washington, D.C. for more than two decades, I understand the complexities of life abroad. Together with my Spanish husband, we are raising three American children and, while still fully engaged in our professional lives, we are actively planning our future in Spain. Through this process, I realized how many others — families, professionals, and expats — share the same aspiration for an international lifestyle that feels authentic and enriching, yet too often, they simply don’t know where to start.

That’s why I founded DALI. Through this project, I combine my cross-cultural experience across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe with my personal journey as an expat and entrepreneur. My mission is simple: to make your transition abroad seamless, enriching, and inspiring — helping you realize your dream of an international lifestyle.
